Gluten-free pizza Recipe
Once the pizza ingredients are mixed, there's no need to knead - just leave it to swell for an hour or so. It won't look like a traditional pizza dough, but don't worry - it works!
- 300g/10½oz gluten-free plain flour
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1 x 7g sachet fast-action dried yeast
- 1 tsp xanthan gum
- 1 tsp gluten-free baking powder
- 1 tsp caster sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 300ml/½ pint warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp wine or cider vinegar
- 125g/4½oz mozzarella
- 4 tbsp passata
- 2 tbsp tomato purée
- 10 black olives, pitted and halved
- 2 tbsp pickled jalapeño chilli slices, drained
- 16 slices gluten-free pepperoni or other sliced meat
- 4 tbsp roasted red peppers, sliced
- good pinch dried oregano
- 2 handfuls rocket leaves or 10 fresh basil leaves
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
For the pizza base, combine the flour, flax seeds, yeast, xanthan gum, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large bowl and mix.
Add warm water, oil, and vinegar, and using a wooden spoon or rubber spatula, mix well for 1-2 minutes. The mixture will not look like regular pizza dough but it will look like soft mashed potatoes. Cover the bowl with cling film or a clean tea towel and leave in an airtight place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Cover a large baking tray with baking paper and place half of the pizza base mixture in the middle. Using a spoon or knife, spread the mixture into a neat 25 cm/10 inch disk. Repeat the process with the rest of the mixture on the second baking tray. Set them aside for 45 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 220-230°C/200-210°C with a 7-8 fan/gas. Place a heavy baking tray on the top rack of the oven to heat.

Remove from the oven and cook the second base the same way, making sure the tray is hot before sliding onto the second base.
Reduce oven temperature to 200°C/180°C fan/gas 6.
Dry the mozzarella cheese on kitchen paper and chop it into small pieces. In a small bowl, mix together the pesta and tomato puree and season with salt and pepper.
Spread the tomato mixture over the pizza bases, leaving a 1cm/inch border all around. Sprinkle over the mozzarella cheese, olives and jalapenos and arrange the pepperoni and roasted red pepper slices over it. Season with black pepper and a sprinkle of dried oregano and cook each for 10 minutes, or until cheese has burst and starts to brown.
Sprinkle with arugula or basil and serve immediately.

Paleo Diet Menu - The Secret to a Healthy Life
The Paleo diet can easily be described as the natural food used by the ancients during the Paleolithic Age - an era that stretched for about two and a half million years and ended about ten thousand years ago. Paleo food in that era consisted of wild plants and wild animals that humans were consuming at that era. The Paleolithic era ended with the development of modern agricultural techniques and concepts about ten thousand years ago. The concept of the Paleo diet became popular during the 1970s thanks to gastroenterologist Walter L.V. to generalize the concept. The main idea behind the concept of the feasibility of the Paleolithic diet for humans is that the ideal diet for human health should be similar to that of the ancestors.
Your Paleo diet food menu should consist of the ingredients listed above. Starting with the meat that should be eaten as much as possible but the point to remember is that the meat should be cooked in a simple way without adding a lot of fat because fat causes many diseases such as blood pressure and cholesterol, and also increases the chances of a fatal heart attack by blocking the passage of blood circulation .
With this point in mind, meat is healthy for us whether we use it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Lean meat is meat that has been trimmed of fat and the list of lean meats such as lean beef, sirloin, lean hamburger, lean veal, broiler steak, London steak, top sirloin and any other lean cuts can be extended. .
Lean poultry consists of chicken breasts, turkey breasts, and chicken breasts that contain white meat with the skin removed.
Eggs a maximum of six per week from ducks, geese and chickens (choose the omega-3 rich group of chicken eggs).
Other types of meat may consist of rabbit and goat meat. Bushmeat should consist of crocodile, bear, bison or buffalo, kangaroo, etc. Fish meat is also suitable for use as food.
Next to meat on the paleo diet menu is the number of fruits and vegetables. Some people find that fruits and vegetables add weight and make them fat.
In connection with the above, this is clearly the biggest misunderstanding about the inclusion of fruits in everyday life. Fruits do not add weight at all, no matter what you eat, as fruits and salad vegetables contain very few calories. For optimum life and health, every meal should include a mixture of meat, salad, vegetables, nuts, seeds and fruits like apple, pomegranate, grapes, apricots, figs and bananas in his diet. Orange, lemon, pear, pineapple, watermelon and papaya are among the most popular fruits because they contain more water, thus providing additional energy to the consumer.
Regarding other nutrients included in the paleo diet, if actively losing weight, a maximum of 4 ounces of nuts and seeds should be used. Walnuts are among the best because they contain the highest percentage of omega-3s.
Paleo oils, drinks, and sweets should also be used in moderate amounts, and remember that not all processed foods made from dairy products, powdered milk, ice cream, grains, and legumes are on the paleo diet.
Summing up the ingredients, the Paleo diet food menu consists primarily of fish, fruits, vegetables, roots, nuts, and grass-fed high-meats, but does not include processed oils, refined sugar, salt, dairy, and legumes. So make yourself obligated to use the mentioned items and in no time you will feel a good change in your life, definitely a positive change.

Low-glycemic foods and their benefits
Well, you can decide on this for several reasons, for example, fat loss or even heart health. Regular exercise, adequate nutritional supplements and a proper glycemic diet may be what you need to know.
Ideally, glycemic foods are types of foods that affect your blood sugar level.
Foods with low levels of sugar are essential, but the problem for many is knowing which foods are glycemic and which foods are not. Most people find it difficult to understand what the body needs at some specific time and for what reasons.
So, what are low glycemic foods?
The reason they are preferred is that they are digested and absorbed at a slower rate which leads to a gradual increase as well as a smaller rise in the blood sugar level. Therefore, the glycemic index (GI) is a scale that ranks different foods according to their effect on blood sugar levels.
Benefits of low glycemic foods:
a) It reduces the risk of cancer
When eating foods that are high in blood sugar, it may lead to some types of cancer such as breast cancer, endometrial cancer and colorectal cancer, and studies show that people who follow a low glycemic index diet have a lower risk of developing cancer.
b) Helps reduce excess weight
Diets with a low glycemic index lead to a loss of 0.7-1.9 kg of weight only between 5-10 weeks. It also helps lower the blood sugar levels of diabetic patients.
c) It reduces the risk of heart disease
According to research studies, 25% of people who follow a high glycemic index diet are more likely to develop heart disease than their counterparts who follow a low glycemic index diet.
D) improve cholesterol levels
Low-glycemic diets can reduce by 9.6% of total cholesterol and 8.6% of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, which is stroke and heart disease.
Foods on a low glycemic index diet
Low-glycemic foods are of three categories: small, medium and high GI.
To achieve the benefits of low glycemic foods, choose from the following; Whole grains, beans, legumes, yogurt, dairy products, fresh fruit, bread and rice.
Also, some foods do not have a glycemic index value because they contain little or no carbohydrates and therefore can be part of the list and include; Nuts, seeds, meat, fats, oils, fish, herbs as well as spices
Low GI Diet Challenge
The glycemic index does not give a true nutritional profile. Likewise, it measures the effect of a specific food on blood sugar levels which becomes tricky as most foods are eaten in a mixed meal.
The glycemic index does not take into account the number of carbohydrates ingested although it does determine their effect on sugar levels.
In short, regardless of the glycemic index, it is beneficial to eat a healthy, balanced diet consisting of whole, unprocessed foods.

Melt the butter in a saucepan and add sugar syrup, gold sugar, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract and salt. Move together well. Boil for 2-3 minutes until the mixture is thick. Stir in the nuts and seeds cooked, stirring into a coat with a mixture.
Remove the mixture from the fire and place in a 9 × 3 baking dish lined with a piece of paper. Place another sheet of paper on the paper and press to spread the mixture evenly on the baking dish. Cool for 10 to 15 minutes and then cool for 15 minutes. Cut into slices and then cool for another 15 minutes.
